Is there any plan for a new version of Steam Controller

I hope for a new touchpad game controller.
Gen 1 was too non-mainstream, but when I think of FPS, TPS gamers, I think it's such a good idea to think that having camera manipulation on a touchpad should be the standard for all controllers.
The first generation product used two touch pads, but I think just one right touch pad is enough.
And if there are four back buttons, I think it's good to be able to assign all ABXY buttons to the back
That way, right thumb will be able to focus on aiming.
Other controller companies don't seem to be thinking about this, so I only expect from Steam.
If you give up, there is no hope now.
Please don't stop developing second-generation products.

L-Stick in the upper left, D-pad in the lower left, huge touchpad in the upper right, small ABXY button in the lower right, and four rear buttons.
I think it'll be great in 3D games.

If Valve made SC2, most likely the controller design will be closer to Steam Deck's controller design. Currently, I don't think Valve have big incentive to make a new controller unless they're planning to make a new Steam Machine or Steam Deck 2 with TV dock attachment.
