Community Layouts Not Loading

I am trying to access community controller layouts in Big Picture and none of them are loading for me, no matter what game I am on. Even the desktop layouts in Big Picture’s controller settings won’t load. I just get a never ending spinning Steam logo whenever I try to browse community layout.

Steam is detecting my controller and I can modify any existing layouts, but just want access and browse community layouts. I’ve already tried removing and reinstalling Steam. Running it as admin, and I can’t see it being blocked by Windows firewall as all other online aspects of Steam are working.

Anyone experience this and/or have any suggestions?

some people hinted at enabling GPU rendering, but mine was already enabled... and no change when I disabled that.

Thanks for the reply. I tried GPU acceleration but it didn't work for me. On a whim I opted into the Steam beta update and after that community layouts loaded right away. Just hoping I don't run into any other bugs being on the beta.
