Double Click Bug
When utilizing the Steam Link with the Steam Controller my single press inputs are being perceived in game as double clicks. This is seen in XCOM 2 when trying to build things, it ends up building more than one at a time which is frustrating.

I've tried resetting the controller/steamlink/PC it seems only to occur in big picture mode, I've tried minimizing and reinitializing Big picture mode but the issue stays prevelant.

Can anyone help?

I'm getting this as well, and it was previously reported here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/353370/discussions/0/412449508292447724/

FWIW, double clicking the item name (not the "build" button) does seem to work for me, as described in that post. More annoying is the fact that you miss things like after action reports, as each click advances two items at a time.

Getting this here as well, using BPM and a SC. Most importantly it happens using both the controller's inputs (RT or A button) *and* the mouse, suggesting it is a bug in the way XCOM2 process the inputs when the BPM API is active.

I posted and cross-referenced this topic in the XCOM2 forums:

Look in the "Add/Test" menu in Big Picture Mode settings menu.

If you see more than one Steam Controller listed even though only one is active, plug out the dongle and plug it back in. Chances are you may have used sleep mode which causes funky stuff to happen with the Steam Controller after awaking from sleep mode.

If not, turn off any peripheral drivers (sterring wheels, motion controllers, third party gamepads) if you have them installed and active on your PC.

I unplugged every peripheral i have and it still happens ugh this is annoying. Also only one steam controller listed in add test. Interestingly enough, this seems to affect my mouse too when steam controller is on. I've tried it with nothing else but my controller plugged in and still the same thing.

Mouse drivers maybe, or go to "Device Manager" and see if there's anything out of the ordinary with Drivers you may not realize you had. What about a computer virus? Have you scanned for them? You may have one that screws up mouse input.

I'm out of options otherwise since i've never experienced this, sorry.
