Trigger soft/hard press problems.

I just got this controller, so please excuse me if this is a pretty newbie question:

I am trying to play multiple FPS games like how the trailer showed, with the soft trigger pull to aim down sights, and the hard trigger to fire. The only problem is that every time I try out the configuration on a game (I've tried Fallout 4 and COD WAW) it aims when I soft pull, fires when I hard pull, but forgets that I'm holding the soft trigger and I stop aiming down sights. Yes, I've restarted steam, my computer, and my controller.

Please help! I've been searching for solutions for hours!

Turn off the "analog trigger" in the cofiguration menu

That didn't help.

Try adjusting the threshold.

Try putting it on Hip Fire.
