Where are the advanced settings?

I need to enable edge spin, google searching says its in the advanced settings but I cannot find them.

Mouse, Mouse joystick or joystick move. They have the advanced setting. Next time read the guide.

None of that information nor the guide are useful when nothing tells you how to access or where to find those settings.

Also I didnt notice any such guide or instructions in the box of the controller.

Yes because finding the one individual precise thing / information that Im looking for in hundreds of pages worth of guides that are written in nothing but pure waffle making anything impossible to find makes me ignorant.

Or you know, the worthless trash could have included an instruction manual in the box?

From the configuration screen, select the right trackpad, "Advanced Settings" will be an option at the bottom right of the screen. From advanced settings, you can change the edge-spin radius (how far from the center you must touch to activate edge spin), and edge spin speed. That should be everything you would need to get edge spin up and running.

Ok, so I found the menu, and I looked through EVERY setting and possible line of text. There is no setting that either says edge spin, or that allows me to set the right trackpad to work like an analogue stick.

So all my games are still unplayable.

@OP See, if you can't even figure out that the advanced settings are behnd the big advanced settings button then you and the XBOX controller are a match made in heaven. It really does seem like you are doing this on purpose just to try and blame anything but yourself. If you are new, I get it but you at least have to try. Not even that much, just try.

Just take note that I wrote this long before the activators were introduced and at the time, action sets were just barely beta so some of this info is outdated but it should help you make it through the first hour or so with a steam controller. After that, if you still can't handle it, let me know and you can send me your SC, I would love to have a third.

You have it set as a regular joystick, so edge spin doesn't matter at all

Basically the whole pad has edge spin, so it doesn't matter

Try using Joystick Move instead of Joystick Camera (but make sure to make it output right stick)

The difference is that you can just tap the trackpad to move instead of having to drag it

With joystick camera, it works like a joystick. You drag your thumb out from the center of the pad, like a joystick.

With joystick move, you can just tap the trackpad to have it move the camera.

Well so you see, thats exactly what I tried setting it as, so as you say the whole pad should have edge spin.

BUT IT DOES NOT AND I CANNOT AIM MY GUN IN ENTER THE GUNGEON / RAPID FIRE IN BINDING OF ISSAC / SCROLL MY CAMERA AROUND IN 3D GAMES!
