Steam Controller

Opening Steam crashes my controller
Since the last Steam update opening it crashes my controller.
I am quadriplegic and I use a Wii remote and a hat with 3 leds to play.
He paired the remote with the bluetooth of the computer, I open the Freetrack program and when I move my head it is as if I were moving the axes of a joystick.
This system continues to work, what happens is that now when opening Steam it stops working.
I'm desperate, this is the only way I can play car games and if they don't fix it, they kill me.
Since the update, if I have not paired the Wii remote with bluetooth, a message does not stop appearing in the bottom right that says "nintendo Wii Remote using Genís Valls configurations" and if I enter parameters/control, in controls detected keeps appearing and disappearing "generic controller: Nintendo Wii Remote"
This didn't happen before
Please gentlemen of Steam try to solve this
Thank you

There may be questions/guidance from someone from Valve but if not you can hide the remote from Steam til they add some options to opt it in/out of controller support / complete the support for the device. Since it appears/disappears I would say try the manual method from bottom section of:

Instead of Dualsense id's from that post, use Wii Remote's:

Thank you very much tintingaro, it worked.
I put this "controller_blacklist" " 057e/0306 " in the config.vdf file and fixed.
I thought I was not going to be able to play again, thank you very much
