Steam Controller

Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) - Steam controller doesn't send keyboard keys
When loading the Steam version of PSO2, I cannot map any keyboard keys to the Steam Controller; any keyboard or mouse input is ignored by the game. This would normally not be a huge issue, but the entire subcommand palette is mapped to the 0-9 keys on the keyboard.

Some games are either controller or kb/m, and can't do both (example: Skyrim/Fallout 4).

Japanese version of PSO2 can handle both at the same time actually - its like how it is with Warframe. I know I'm certain cause I am using the Steam Controller with the PSO2 JP as a custom added game.

the Japanese version os the game either uses xbox controllers or D-input as generic controller (you'd had to bad the triggers individually for example) so you basically use a DreamCast pad if you so wish
the NA version, is endorsed by Microsoft, so it will only work with xinput controller, so is the UWP (Windows 10) version, which the Steam version is based off of, unless a SEGA NA developer willingly take their time to implement (or rather re-add) the D-input back

I don't think you understand the inquiry of the person who made the topic. What the original poster is after is the hybrid input on both XInput and Keyboard at the same time using the Steam controller.

So it doesn't matter if regarding which the PSO2NA supports because the Steam Controller IS NOT a Generic Controller.
