Nintendo Switch Pro Controller - HELP!

I thought this was the most fitting place to post it so here my thing: I bought the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller yesterday and then wanted to use it on Steam via USB. So I plugged it in everything worked fine. I could select it on Steam and use it. Then I installed ProConXInput or smthng like this plugged the controller out and after that nothing worked anymore. Now it always gives me and driver error in the devices and it isn't even detected in Steam anymore. I tried so many things. I dont have Bluetooth btw. If you have any help for me, please post it. I'll take everything you can give me.

You don't need any driver because the Steam Input system, an all-in-one controller config driver system that already existed on Steam itself has native support for Switch Pro controller. Open Big Picture mode at the top right of Steam windows, go to settings, controller settings, and add Switch Pro controller configuration support.

So, in theory the controller will automatically has Xinput config on every controller compatible game.

Ty for your reply. Now the problem is: I have installed these drivers and after that nothing at all works anymore. I already have activated the Pro Controller support, but it gets not detected. Do you know any way how I can delete these downloaded drivers completely or "reset" the pro controller config? I already deleted the device multiple time in the device manager. I just need to go back to that point, when I first plugged the controller in.

Uninstall those drivers first and try reconnect the controller.

Im currently working on it. I think im on a solution now. I will follow the steps to uninstall the drivers. I'll let you know ;)

So the drivers now should be uninstalled, but I have still the same problem... Now my Pro Controller got detected as Pro Controller in device manager and it doesn't show me the driver error, but if I go into Gamecontrollersettings there's nothing and steam still does not detect it... strange... maybe i have to reset the usb ports? How can I do that?

Unfortunately I didn't solve it and still have no clue :-(

I had the same issue. I restarted my PC and now it works lol
