It doesn't matter where the "key" is on the mapping keyboard, it'll still output the backslash key when you bind it to the controller so why does it matter where they put it?
Different countries have different layouts, not everyone has a backslash between shift and Z. not everyone has Z where you have, some have a Y there (like mine). But if there's a Z on the mapping keyboard where i have a Y, it will still output a Z, it doesn't really matter. It's not like you're using that keyboard, that's just the visual representation of all the symbols in a more or less familiar layout so you don't have to search for them for long.
In my case I have an azerty keyboard, and the key I would like to get is <
It doesn't matter where the key is on your physical keyboard. The symbol it shows on the virtual keyboard is the "key" that will register as far as your computer is concerned.
