USB Dongle not working

I received my Steam Controller just last week, and tried to use it. Only I've ended up running into a litany of problems. The firmware update in BPM hangs, and doesn't work, meaning I had to use the manual update taken from the forums.

But not only that, but the wireless dongle doesn't work either. I got a message on BPM about it updating, but that update seemed to hang too. But now the dongle wouldn't work, even when I used the method to update it from the forums using SteamVR's lighthouse tools. I can't even use BTLE, because the updater doesn't work for that either.

This is really frustrating, as my TV has a Steam Link app, but the controller I bought for it is practically useless.

My dongle is not working.

The Micro USB port is loose also.

But my dongle is not being seen by Windows 10.
