Binding multiple keys to one button, switching by press
First of all: i'm really sorry for my english, i'm not used to speak or write this language, so i hope you will understand.

simple question: action game, i can choose three kind of weapon, binded to 3 different keys on the keyboard: 1 is the pistol, 2 is the shotgun, 3 is the rifle. Is there a way to switch from the tree keys by repeteadly press a single button on the steam controller like, for the sake of the example, the X button?

And, more than everything else, is it possible to do it without using the action layer way to do it (wich is: once pressed -> pass to action layer 2/ once released -> remove action layer 1 - and so on). So, is there an option, in the button menu, to achieve this result?

Activators will do what you want. In the activator menu for whatever button you want to make cycle bindings, there is actually an option called simply cycle binding, turn this on. Then you bind multiple keys to that same button and they will cycle in the order you bound them. I use this somewhat regularly for old FPS games that have the weapons bound to number keys. Cycle 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 and then it will start back at the first bind again. You can then add a second activator to say, swap to a melee weapon on double tap. It's all pretty straightforward once you dig into the activator menu a bit and play around with it.

Thank you very very much. I've already tried it before, but i never realise I had to use the multiple button function after activating the cycle binding function, I was keep trying to add more activators whit the cycle binding enabled and only one of the many keys I need (and obvs it didn't work that way). Thank you again mate, you made my day.
