DS3 gyro emulation?

I recently started playing BoTW on Cemu and after following this guide [sshnuke.net] I could emulate motion controls and use the DS3 gyro.

I wanted to know if there's a way to do this for steam games. Is there any way to use the DS3 to play like this? Maybe emulating the DS3 controller so the PC thinks its actually a DS4 and using steam gyro config or ds4windows or something? Or maybe using GlovePIE/FreePIE or something like that to translate the gyro movement?

Nope, not from a DS3. From a DS4 you can do it but not with a DS3. You would likely have to give up a stick and emulate a specific analog stick for Steam to see it properly. Might be time to get a more modern controller.

i'm broke and it's satisfying to get this diy hacks working
Again, I could make it work in CEMU so maybe there's a way with GlovePIE or something.(since the DS3 gyro can be used in VR)

Hey mate, did you try using GYRO In-Home Streaming / Steam Link with CEMU?

I did not but I ended up getting a ds4
