You can however set keybindings for leaning the controller left/right so you can use this in games that have leaning around corners mechanic. and you can use the gyro itself in a variety of ways, so you can basically create your own motion controls for almost anything.
So games themselves don't utilize the gyro natively, but you can make some cool settings yourself. As for what games this is good for, most use it for FPS as aim assist or steering in racing games, but you can get creative and use it for a variety of different reasons.
Open up the gyro settings and see what it can do. Maybe you'll find a use for it in [insert game here].
personally i find the sniper elite 1, 2, 3 works nicely. the zombie spin offs 1, 2 and the zombie army games. should work the same with a ps4.
