Is it at all possible to bind a stick rotation to a button?

I'm currently playing FFX and the only overdrive I can't perform is Lulu's because it requires a full right stick rotation. No matter how much I try it does not register, and i've tried different settings for the right pad, but it just doesn't seem to work no matter what I do.

Have you try joystick move with lower deadzone? I usually use that for top-down shooter games.

This. Mouse Like Joystick is great for camera movement but totally fails on rotations since it's quasi emulating a trackball mouse. You need to swtich it to joystick move on a mode shift for those parts.

I have it set to joystick camera. But I'll give this a try.

i can confirm it's possible. i bound a full stick rotation + a punch + a kick to a single button in skullgirls. i don't have ffx, but it should work in that if it works in other games. the trick is to have a separate activator for each stick direction and increase fire start delay and fire start end for each one so it fires in a sequence.

okay, found an easier way to do it. do a multi-press and add all of your stick presses. then turn cycle binding to on and enable to turbo, set to maximum.
