I guess this belongs in the dead cells board, BUT REGARDLESS

it says "full controller support" on the store page so unless they're lying, yes

if a game has no support at all, you can still do this

1. Start steam in big picture mode https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5006-ASLN-3202

2. Run the game through it and hit the logo key on the controller

3. Configure keyboard/mouse functions into the controller

The full and partial controller support flags are set by the game developers, so they can sometimes be inaccurate.

Plenty of people are using the Controller Configurator with Dead Cells, so it should work if you opt in to PS4 Controller Configuration. You'll need to go to BigPictureMode->Settings->ControllerSettings and check the "PS4 Configuration Support" checkbox.
