Who is the best character to use?

I always stick with the main CPUs regardless of the entry (Nep+Noire+Vert+Blanc). I think Gear + Plutia can do a lot of damage, but Cave's EXE does crazy damage if I'm not mistaken.

Statistically? In a specific role? Due to movepool? Looks/voice?

IMO, Blanc is the overall best Tank and not bad at dealing out damage.
Cave may as well be a CPU, cause she is the Goddess of Crowl Control :P She can rather easily use her EXE multiple times in a row, and recharge her SP by using her 20 hit specials.
Nepgear has one of *the* best Leader skills, and makes Share manipulation matter.
Kid IF has the other best Leader skill, but more for general gameplay. Rush Attacks are everything for a long time.
Rom, Ram, and Peashy are all adorble and are constantly in need of hugs.

I think they kind of told us straight up that there isn't one best character in the end of the game.

But my favorites are MAGES. and Neptune

mine are Neptune, Blanc, Nepgear and Noire.

this is my ultimate party build i beat all tough bosses and cleared arena including the DLC one and i'm around level 250.

why Neptune?
cause she is an awesome protagonist! + her EXE drive Neptune Break Delays enemy turn. Couple her anyone with Null Caterogy.

why Blanc?
coz she will beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of you if you don't include her and she is the strongest char ever!! her EXE Drive Hard Break is so OP it delays enemy turn and it is an AoE imagine! I Couple her with Cyberconnect for Reduce Cooldown (turnspeed if i'm not mistaken) and Null Category.

why Nepgear?
coz imouto is life man! her Leadership skill which is the HDD Shares+ is one of the best in game! It increases your stats depends on your shares! I Couple her with Ram for their couple attack the Cocytus it has an insane Turn Delay i think it's like 3 turn delay!

why Noire?
coz who doesn't love a twin-tail tsundere?! her EXE Drive Infinite Slash got Defensive debuffs which is rad and it's an AoE! Couple her with any one with Null Category.

Equip them with Drill Disc for EZ EXE Drives. If played right you will kill any Boss without them having the chance to fight back. I can make a video of it if you want to!
