That's pretty clear and unclear at the same time lol XD Any differences between Neptune/Purple Heart, Plutia/Iris Heart and Uni/Black Sister, for as far as you're concerned? :P
It would be too hard to order them in a list, so:
- favourite CPU - Peashy, then Blanc. Noire and Vert allllll the way to the bottom. Couldn't care less about any HDD-form goddess either way.
- favourite Candidate - who cares? Uni because she's the only gun user, still annoying as all hell though
- favourite Maker - gonna go with adult Falcom.
- favourite Oracle - Histoire, who else?

And if we had a playable, non-evil Arfoire in her regular form and not the un-corrupted white-haired one from Re;Birth 1, she'd probably rank #6 in that list. And maybe Blanc would struggle against Iris Heart and Green Heart for place #7, but I really don't have any special likes and dislikes as the list goes down, I mostly just care about the Top 5/6.

Smiley Pigggg! Nice to see you again, how are you? :D Thanks for letting me know about RED. I KNEW I forgot one... but which one... lol. Playing through 2 games after Re;Birth 2 caused that. She's been added to the appropriate lists.
I do care about favorites, top 5's etc, so no problem in listing only those. But I always like to compare what I have with others, so full lists are as clear as it gets in that department.
If you want to know how I do it, building the list is simple. Ranking the characters, not so much most of the time. Many of them are quite close to each other in terms of how much I like their personalities, looks, playstyles, etc. But the reason the separate lists are there is because that's how I build up the big one. I take, say, the CPU's and I compare them like: Noire is my number 1, easy (gee what gave that away), so that's number one. Do I like Blanc better than Neptune? If yes, then do I like her better then Vert? If yes, she ranks at number 2.
All the separate lists are then just looking at the highest ranking characters. Once they have a spot, I start comparing the number 2 with the other numbers and then so forth.

Do I like a better than A? Yes. Do I like a better than 1? Yes. a at the top. Do I like b better than A? no. Do I like A better than 1? No. 1 in second place. Etc. Piece by piece. But I think it took me an hour to make the list nonetheless :p

Fav CPU's Peashy and Blanc. That's a combo I havent seen often (but I havent read through the massive thread with the well thought-out name yet)
I see now how you're creating such lists and yeah... I'm not gonna do that. :p Not only because I don't have the time, but mostly because after the Top 5, like I said before, I don't have any special preferences. I can say I like Chika a little more than Kei, for example, but it won't mean much. I have the top 5 that I really like and for most of the the rest, I feel pretty much the same. Even Peashy, who sometimes is annoying as hell, I can't say I dislike her enough to place her at the bottom, because I know she means much to Neptune and I like Neptune the most so... yeah. She gains points that way. :p
So it's all about those 5 for me. If pressed, I can say that place #6 is specially reserved for a kind-hearted, eggplant farmer Arfoire, Tiny Histoire is #7 and then Blanc, Green Heart and Iris Heart are -in no particular order- in places #8-#10. Everyone else is tied for place #11. :p
Glad you're OK, I'm great, I just passed some important exams so I do have the time to do this kind of thing now :D
About that kind-hearted eggplant farmer... I take it you have seen the anime to completion now, too? I want more.
Haha, yeah, I did. :p I actually watched it back then, I couldn't wait. I hadn't even finished all the achievements for Re;Birth 2 when I watched episode 13. And I want more too, I really liked it, although it had a bit too much unnecessary drama at some points. But everyone was happy in the end, especially Nep and Plutia, so I guess it's all right. And Arfoire really needs to stay that way permanently, it suits her much more than remaining a villain or becoming the "rescued" version of her from Re;Birth 1.
I hope after Megadimension and maybe after yet another sequel, there will be enough material for a new anime. With less drama and hopefully much longer this time. And if there's not, an original story with more appearances from Maker characters will be great too... but anyway, let's not let the conversation derail again. :p

Obviously. She's the most unique CPU in my opinion. And makes for hilarious moments. And it's Iris Heart. C'mon now. But I do know that actually many people dislike her because she messes with their favorite characters too much.
I must say I felt sorry for Noire especially in a particular scene, but I can't hate Iris for that. People do speak of 'hate' too easily IMO.
No worries, bonus points for not putting her (all the way) at the bottom ;) I mean... I don't understand it (to me she's the most adorablest thing evar combined with enough maturity and brains), but I don't have to XD
Took the words for 5pb right out of my mouth. Tekken... the thing is, I said the list tends to sway. That's usually when I start playing a new game and new characters get introduced, obviously, or we see more of personalities - and especially when the initial 'WOW' fades and I come to the conclusion I was overreacting or something. This usually happens when I either love a character to death the moment I see her, or the exact opposite (Arfoire in the first game).
Tekken, I like her a lot, liked her the most of all makers for about a week, too. But then I calmed down about her and my opinion changed. I was just excited about Tekken being a part of HDN and that caused my excitement. She's cute and a lovely little masochist, yeah, but there are others that I like more.
And dressing her up as Lili doesnt make her a replacement for THE Emilie the Rochefort (along with Angel my main tag team in TTT2). Overall still a nice character, though. You can pretty much read everything on my complete list below RED/number 32 as a BIG GAP, just like what you did. Doesn't mean I dislike the characters below there, but I like them a lot less than all of the above. And the further you get to the top, the closer the characters get to each other. So, the smaller the gap. With #1/#2/#3 as exceptions. Between those and #4 there is a 'medium' gap, too.
It's okay. Makes me the Master of all Lists. Sort of... what a pathetic title, though XD
It's just a matter of different tastes. :) Likewise, I don't know how anyone can put Neptune anywhere but the top, but I accept it. Man, I even started eating caramel pudding because of her... :p
Personally, I don't think about it that much. And I guess I've seen way too much by now to feel "WOW" and get excited about any of these characters (or perhaps anyone in general, for that matter). ^^; For me, it's simple. Tekken ranks so high becase from the beginning I simply realized that I like everything about her - cuteness, personality, voice that can hardly be heard (especially when she "yells" in combat, that's the best), fighting style (during the second-to-last punch of her EXE Drive she reminds me so much of Tifa Lockhart), her masochistic nature... and I don't even like the actual Tekken games! Also, she's perfect for Plutia, whom I also like so much - best friend for her human form (based on her sweet and quiet nature) and perfect toy for Iris Heart... it's like they were made for each other. So she fits right in at the top. :) As for the others up there, Nep is Nep - nothing else needs to be said, I already explained what makes 5pb so special and Rom... well, Rom is just too cute for words and that's enough. :p
Both Tekken and 5pb should find a way to become immortal, so that they can hang out with Nep, Plutia and the others forever. If Ultradimension Vert has more CPU Memories in stock, they should grab a couple quickly. Then they'd have all the time in the world to repay her, 5pb can hold live concerts at Ultradimension Leanbox and Tekken can act as Vert's little sister three days a week... It could work... >.>
I felt sorry for her there, too, indeed. Very much so. The moment I meant was when Iris 'talked' her into going to Lowee to let Blanc know how she felt. Before they had befriended Blanc.
For most situations, saying they 'WOW' me might be exaggeration, but by lack of a better word... as 'they impressed me' doesnt always quite cut it. I really was like WOW, wait. Tekken in this game? Awesome!
But Noire and 5pb WOW'ed me without it being an exaggeration and that always remained. Especially Noire, which is quite clear by now. And I could probably write a whole word wall about the 'why'. Thankfully you did for 5pb already, so I wont have to.
But others, like Arfoire, didnt 'WOW' me (in none of her appearances in the games or anime), but any language misses the words to decribe what I mean :P But at the start I disliked her a bit more than later on. It's really nothing special tho, so to say she 'WOW''ed me, in a bad way, is definately exaggeration.
Nepgear WOW'ed me, but that is an exaggeration too, though in the positive sense. She's just so damn adorable and I was very surprised when I saw Nepgear. In Re;Birth 1 I unlocked her last, due to Neptune being my least favorite of the 4 main CPU's and I ended up liking Nepgear, her little sister, a lot more than Neptune herself. And indeed, that is all a matter of tastes.
The path of the story you decribed at the end was very nice, but it could lead to different outcomes... CPU Memories could turn 5pb and Tekken into monsters, after all. That's not what we want. Although I can easily imagine them being the best monsters of all time. Still - not what we want.
But there is one major flaw here: Vert would never accept someone as her little sister for only 3 days a week XD - she NEEDS one though. Microsoft should just go and publish a handheld just for Neptunia's - nay, Vert's - sake XD
