Steam version of the game different?
So, i noticed small things in the steam version of CI5 which seem to be different/missing, as example the Gameplay option "Network wizard" and "Allow Cheats", which are missing completely. But also multiplayer is pretty empty, which doesn't seem to be in the regular version. Am i doing something wrong? Does the same thing happen to you? or am i just wrong? some answers please! thanks!

regards ~

Ohhh so that's why the << Allow cheats >> box is missing from the menu of the game ... because the versions are different . Do you guys know how to enable it ? :\

The version found directly on our website has some exclusive features (for example, cheats). The Network Wizard is unnecessary for Steam because Steam uses its own networking for multiplayer games.

Steam multiplayer games are between Steam users only. Sadly it's not technically possible to play with people outside of the Steam network :(

Well, sadly this won't be possible. As InterAction studios says, its a site-game exclusive only... but maybe they could put a dlc for this into the steam market... i mean this wouldn't hurt, right? :D

If you could login with Steam on your site to download the non-steam versions of the games
you already owned would be cool. Also do you get a Steam key if you buy from
"interactionstudios DOT com"? I didn't find anything saying you did...

though some people might exploit it if it happens, just sayin...

In what way? If you already own the game on Steam i don't see a problem.
I expect anyone who'd "exploit" it has already torrented it.
I don't see people sharing their Steam profile with other people.
Because of the restrictions Steam has with multiple PCs, and their security.
Tho sharing the game files might be a problem.
But don't you also have to login on the non-Steam version?
I remember InterAction studios's version also has a key you need to use to start the game.
As long as that's linked to your account,
and your Steam account linked to your InterAction account it should be fine.
Tho i might have missed something. But it seems like it wouldn't be a problem.

Not really, some games back then had DLC to get in-game cheats and this game isn't THAT brand new... :ssltank:
