Linux!
Running this on Bazzite, unfortunately textures simply don't load - everything is see-through! Very weird. I've tried a few versions of Proton to no avail, including the latest GE release :( Hopefully this gets a patch later, the game looks lovely.

However the game hard crashes my gpu driver when reaching the second zone now, no matter the proton version. Progress?

Bump for Linux, 'Invalid Platform'
Switching to experimental seemed to work for me
I switched to experimental and it seemed to work just fine! It's weird that it defaults to windows when no other games do that.
So I already have Steam set to use the latest GE Proton by default, and it gave me "Invalid platform", which is... weird. Other games don't give me this message and just obey the compatibility setting.

After manually changing this for the game to GE Proton latest (10.4), the game loads, but most geometry and textures are transparent lol.

I tried both Proton Experimental and Hotfix as well - same thing. Running Bazzite latest (KDE Wayland) on an AMD gpu, for what it's worth. Wondering if anyone else with Linux and an AMD gpu have managed to bypass these issues... Maybe Gamescope or Lutris would help?

Thanks! This appears to have done the trick. Haven't played past the first area yet, but things seem to be working well. I also see the devs issued a patch today that allows the selection of Vulkan during the launch - I suspect this should fix the issue for most folks.

I'll report back if I encounter any other Linux specific bugs :)

Yeah it seems to be working completely fine now, ive played with my friends multiple times and we went through multiple regions. I did select the new vulcan option but i was lazy to remove the launch options so idk if its no longer needed. :lunar2019piginablanket:
weird how you have to specifically use "-force-vulkan".

I was trying it with only "-vulkan" since this is what I set for default options. I didn't try it with -force-vulkan yet, but once I try it I will give updates.

Does this happens only with AMD cards? is it perhaps a problem with the way AMD drivers handle vram leaks on linux? it's so weird...
