Hey Crabbies 🦀

We wanted to give you an early heads-up that the demo for Everything is Crab, which is currently available on Steam, will be closing on May 1, at 7pm BST. Look out for a handy/ominous clock in the demo that’ll help you track how long you have to get a taste of the animal evolution roguelite action!

A huge thank you to every single player that’s checked out the Everything is Crab demo, left us a review, given your feedback, hung out in the Discord server, and all that kind of stuff. Your support has been so helpful as we get everything ready for the game’s full launch on May 8.

Conveniently during this last stretch for the demo, you can also check out Earth Appreciation Fest on Steam, which features Everything is Crab, from today at 6pm BST to April 24. It’ll feature loads of cool games that present Earth at its evolutionary best, or spotlight things about Earth that require action. We’ll let you decide which category our game is in more…

Play teaser on win

There is an option to check the box saying "Play teaser on win", what does it do? I can win a match and the usual happens where the screen show stats and then you can go back to menu or quit. What and where is the teaser? Am I missing something? In context, I got almost 80 hours in this demo and I might have overlooked something....

Stoner is just TERRIBLE

Stoner wasn't any good in the playtest and it's no better here in the demo. Having it a charged attack that slowly extends to max range and can't be cancelled until it's thrown, and arcs over anything that isn't within its tiny little area of effect, not only feels clunky to use but is incapable of hitting anything that's in motion or right up in your face. Quality of Life Suggestion: Unequipped Attack Evolution Removed From Selection Pool

When a you find a better attack evolution, it can be annoying to have your old discarded evolution keep showing up in the level up evolution selection pool. So I propose that when you unequip an attack evolution it no longer shows up in the level up evolution selection pool. At least having the option would be nice. Thanks for reading....
