I'm playing the demo on a Steam Deck and some cutscenes (specifically the opening and the one that plays after you get the third party member) only display a off-air type image. I haven't seen anyone talking about that so I assume it only happens on the Deck. Re-installing the demo didn't fix it....

Zero threads and zero communication? What's happening with the game!

I dont know why but I tried it twice. Start the game, buy equipment, read some book then go into the dungeon. Walk left and have 2 or 3 monster fights. Talk to someone infront 3 chests. Open one of the chests it contains Medicine. Use the medicine since Im almost dead from the fights. It heals me but I cant go back out from the menu. Game seems great but I cant seem to get past that ...

Game is fairly fun, I didn't step into the third floor yet but I do enjoy the dungeon crawling. Only real thing I had issues with was getting magic keys to open pink doors, but my rng is atrocious so I'm sure it's fine. Map system is whatever but it does make things a tad slow or just need a lot of memorizing. Thankfully Nene has mapping which makes it a tad more tolerable. I don't think this was mentioned in the patch notes, but there is a character recruitment bug where you can overwrite another characte...

I tried the demo and really enjoyed it. As a fan of the Wizardry series I felt right at home. Can't wait for the release!
