Namco Bandai seems to be pretty lenient about Youtube and content ID, and IP and copyright and fair use. Then again, most companies don't take action against Let's Play or other content. But Namco Bandai also seem the least among them or least likely among big companies to take issue with them or Let's Players.
I'm also a partner for another network, but I don't upload many videos lately myself. Just not much I want to upload currently..
As ukkosfaith pointed out, there are a crapton of Let's Players on Youtube. One I followed actually did get ContentID'd for something a while back, forgot what it was and it was a pain for him to get around it. I don't remember what game it was on or anything, but it was a long time ago.
I understand the need for Copyright, but it is done completely wrong these days. Since now a piece of work can be copyrighted for the lifespan of the author plus an additional 70 years once said person dies. It is utterly ridiculous. Copyright should go back to when it was 7 years maximum before it goes public domain. That is more than enough time to make back money, and profit from the ideas and such.
If it helps, so far I've not had any issue with bamco games and monitization even with the game music on so you should be fine.
You'd be surprised. Nintendo for example will nuke monitized videos in a hurry, as will EA depending on how prevelant the game/franchise is. But yeah, most reasonable companies are all for it, as long as it's not used to make questionable content.
