So, does this game have Auto combat?

Usually in Tales games you have Auto, Semi-Auto, and Manual control for all characters. However, does this one have Auto as an option for all characters?

combats a tad diffrnet as you have skills you can use to build you're Main attack(combo) then skills for ur special attacks ecetera and yes it will likely have that

Well, I was more referring to control type, where you decide how you want to control a character: Semi-auto, Manual, or Auto. Usually can be changed in the Techs/Artes menu or by pressing select during battle.
