List of Character Titles & How to Level them

INTRODUCTION

I didn't really see anyone who had the information about how you obtain some of the titles within the game or how to rank them up either (e.g. bronze -> silver -> gold)

Due to this, I decided I'd make this thread to help out those who are new or may just want to have an idea about what each title grants, how you obtain it, or how you rank it up.

Any addtional information would be greatly appreciated, Specifically some of the titles I might have missed or the names for titles I cannot get now

CHARACTERS

SOREY

Level Up Title (Attack)

• first title - Start with
  
• Seasoned Harrier - Obtain at Level ?
  
• third Title - Obtain at Level ?

Level Up Title (Focus)

• first title - Start with
  
• Elite Sword Danseur - Obtain at Level ?
  
• Third Title - Obtain at Level ?

Level Up Title (Arte Attack)

• first title - Start with
  
• Wielder of the Devil's Sword - Obtain at Level ?
  
• Third Title - Obtain at Level ?

Sheperd Title

• Fledgling Sheperd - Take the oath of the Sheperd
  
• Grand Sheperd - Obtain all 4 spiritual Powers
  
• 3rd Title - Unconfirmed (Requirements needed)

Traveler Title

• first Title - Obtained after leaving Elysa
  
• Second Title - Believe after reuniting with Alisha / Returing Gramp's pipe.
  
• third Title - Obtained after ?

Scholar Title

• First Title - Discover X amount of monoliths (Needed: amount of X)
  
• Intrepid Scholar - Discover X amount of monoliths (Needed: amount of X)
  
• Third Title - Discover X amount of monoliths (Needed: amount of X)

ALISHA

ROSE

Level Up Title (Attack)

• first title - Start with (Not sure of name due to being to high leveled when I met her)
  
• Twin-Blade Fencer - Obtain at Level ?
  
• third Title - Obtain at Level ?

Level Up Title (Focus)

• first title - Start with (Not sure of name due to being to high leveled when I met her
  
• Twin-Blade Strike - Obtain at Level ?

Level Up Title (Arte Attack)

Assassin Title

• first title - Not sure how it is obtained
  
• Executioner - Not sure how it is obtained, maybe after killing Cardnel?
  
• Third Title - Obtained after ?

Rose Past Title

• first title - Obtained after meeting SparrowFeathers in Marrow Woods, I think
  
• Forgotten Flower - Obtain after ? (I believe it is after learning about the bandit kids)
  
• Third Title - Obtain after ?

Merchant Title

• first title - Spend/Aquire? at least X amount of Gald (Needed: amount of X)
  
• Second title - Spend/Aquire? at least X amount of Gald (Needed: amount of X)
  
• Pacifist Profiter - Spend at least 920250 Gald or Aquire at least 200000 gald (920250 is the amount I had spent when it leveled up, while I had 200000 gald in my pocket as well)

MIKLEO

Level Up Title (Attack)

Snack Related Title

• Sweet Tooth - eat at least X amount of snacks (Needed: amount of X)
  
• Snack Addict - eat at least X amount of snacks (Needed: amount of X)
  
• Thrid Snack Title - eat at least 200 snacks. (Title name needed)

LAILAH

Level Up Title (Attack)

Fusion Related Title

• First Title Name - Fuse X amount of times (Needed: Title name and amount for X)
  
• Second Title Name - Fuse X amount of times (Needed: Title name and amount for X)
  
• Fusionista - Create a +10 fusion item (Confirmation?)

EDNA

Level Up Title (Attack)

Zaveid and Dezel share titles yes belive some might have altered names dont have a save with dezel atm. If you are doing this list id like to request if you could add all the effects the titles get as they level up.

titles take an absolute age to level up so I dont consider it good news there is many secret ones :(

From what I can see some skits, quests will grant a one off level up, otherwise titles level up occasionally when you level up, I think every 5 levels or so.

There is 2 meals at the inn's that grants title experience, but I dont know if that grants it on its own or if it only buff's the experience you get every 5 level up's.

True...But I am not entirely sure about what all the requirements needed nor have I finished the game yet...I tend to get a little sidetracked when it comes to Tales of games due to being a grinder

on my first playthru with levels just under 100 I maxed out 3 titles and the 4th was in progress for every character except alisha who didnt even max out 1 title.

Yeah...I at the moment have 0 maxed titles and only two gold titles, Lailah's fusionista and Dezel/Zaveid battle title...I'm currently working on maxing out both but as you said, it takes forever and the meal in godedden doesn't give a whole lot of title xp.

I think jrpg dev's get off on the fact they make every new game take longer to max everything out and think they achieved something by doing so :)

e.g. imagine the time it needs to get a normal sanctified weapon to level 99.

Edna's third tier normin title is "Normin Pharaoh". It triggers after getting all 50 normin.

Actually for Edna's Normin Mayor u need 15 normins recruited... the rest is good (in that title)

So to upgrade "Sweet Tooth" does it require a snack of a certain level or type, or can I just spam Black Stuff/Gooey Stuff until it kicks?

EDIT: I just ate up a ton of lowbie food (mostly black/gooey) and it upgraded the title. I would point out that it did NOT instantly go from bronze to gold, but took a couple of battles to process through.
