Will Tales of Xillia be ported to PC version on Steam?
As concerned in my title, does anyone know the possibility Japan developer working in porting Tales of Xillia to PC version on Steam? I know they did ported Tales of Zestiria and i just bought it a few weeks ago. But more than Zestiria, i'd prefer Xillia teeheehee...

get in line.
First we get Symphonia!

Then in no particular order we hopefully get Berseria, Vesperia and Abyss.
And then, maybe then, i would care for Xillia, even though it was a more boring game overall.

Dont really know if it relates to this but they did trademark "tales of best" last month so could hope its a collection of ports for ps4 and pray it comes to steam aswell.
Personally i dont really mind xillia i found the characters really entertaining especially Gaius and Milla.
Xillia 2 also in my opinion has the best combat system of the 3D tales games as spamming is not the best answer to everything and there are so many ways diffrent setups you can make for combos even with the balance problems concerning ludger.

Wow, I haven't tried Xillia nor Xillia2 but in my opinion, i actually might not go for Xillia2 because Ludger can be transformered in battle... I don't like it haha 🙄

yes, i have finished xillia and xillia 2. I dont htink that any of those characters are much likable so i couldnt really connect with them (apart from Jude in X1, Elize in X2 and Rowen in both).
The story, although more consistent than zestiria, is still lacking. The world is uninteresting, skits are boring and the music isnt good either. Battle system is overall worse too (especially compared to graces and zestiria).

Although thats all just my opinion and dont have to apply to everyone i get the feeling that most people on this forum would agree that vesperia and abyss are overall better games. Even if not, i dont care. I just want those 2 games :[

Who knows, let's hope.

But still. A "bad" tales game is still better than anything currently on steam ( i would probably buy and play it again). It can only get better and the trend with ToZ, Dragon Quest and FF's will hopefully get other titles and franchises as well.

Definatly agree that the story isnt the strongest in the xillia duology but i mostly play tales games for the battle systems and the characters anyway so it didnt bother me as much but i can definatly see why some people would not like them.
For story the only ones that really caught me were abyss and hearts r as said i didnt buy an xbox last gen so havent had the chance to play vesperia.

dont have xbox either. I love vesperia from just watching Lets Plays.... usually i hate those and dont see a point in them. But the hypetrain is strong with this one.

Hmm, i played Abyss using PS2 emulator on PC ( I don't have PS2, PS3, Xbox nor PS4 ) but i found Abyss quite a interesting story line from beginning to the end.. But i dont find Abyss combat system is good 🤔

I actually replayed abyss last year and the combat has actually not aged that badly compared to symphonia which does make me worry for that game when it comes out if they are gonna charge full prize for it as the combat in that is fairly simplistic.
Abyss has fof changes for artes which make the combat at least visually appealing but the fact that Guy,Luke and Natalia benefit so much more from player control than the rest of the cast does make the battle system abit more limiting and spammy for the ai as their job tends to be to generate fofs for the player.

But i hate FOF changes.. It breaks your combo..
Daeqt Nov 17, 2015 @ 3:38am
Only some fofs break the combo for example Guy has an infinite with severing wind fof change if you corner your enemy the biggest offender of fof change breaking your combo is Jade as i belive splash is the only fof change he has that doesnt break cause knockdown Luke has a few fofs that cause it aswell.
A fun strat late game is to have Anise spam bloody howling and Tear spam holy lance as they generate 2 elemental fofs and can combo off their own spells for a fof earlyer this works with eclair for Tear and negative gate on Anise.

I liked Abyss's side quests so much as there are so many hidden things compared to Zestiria. And i liked to challenge Sword Dancer in Abyss too. Ah i remembered i upgraded Mieu's powers and went to solve so many hidden puzzles apart from the main story.. I upgraded my Airborne ( my flying machine ) as well.. And searched for Anise's dolls ( the one she is riding during battles ). And more that i can't remember well enough to tell..
