No more skits at all at discovery points

So I did read a bit about this. And it turns out you can miss the discovery point skits if you don't go there on the "earliest" point you discover it. I just passed the trials, and went to explore past Camelot Bridge, which was a domain area before clearing the 3rd trial (didn't check between 3 and 4). So far NONE of the discovery points past that area offered me any skits.
Did I miss out on them because it was actually unlocked after the 3rd trial, and they are missed after clearing the last one? Or am I simply exploring this area a little early (requiring another certain character, maybe)?

It's pretty hard finding the answer with this part.

And a final question: There is an achievement (Chatterbox) for watching skits. Does missing a bunch make it impossible/hard to get this one? Is it better to do on a NG+ anyway, and do the DLC skits count to it? I at least assume I need a certain amount, and not all. But correct me if I'm wrong. :)

I got Chatterbox way before finishing the game, after getting to the Katz Corner and checking which skits I missed it turns out there are many, many more than what's required for that achievement. You can unlock individual skits with gald once you've cleared the game aswell. If you missed a skit at a discovery point it means you don't have the right characters in your party for the skit to trigger. I've missed a few myself when I found out about some discovery points later on. I don't know if DLC skits count because I already completed the achievement before playing it. If you rest at Inn's every now and then you should be able to listen to alot more skits than when you just play for the main missions. Since the game tells you your max SC decreases over time and hints at you to rest at Inn's often you will likely find alot more of them naturally.

Yeah, I've been resting a lot at inn's lately (even though I hardly need it). Chances are I still missed quite a lot just after this character switch (which I just did like 5 min ago xD). But it's a relief to know I can buy them later on, AND that I don't need all.

I think the deadline for the discover point skits is the "earliest possible time when the story brings you there". I got the Camelot Bridge discovery point skit during the story part to go there.

1 - you can buy missed skits at the katz village.
2 - you get a chance again on a ng+ to watch.

There are a couple exceptions to that. There's one discovery point skit in the area outside Gododdin that is only available in the interval between getting Edna's Giant's Strength, and going into the fire shrine. If you don't backtrack out of Gododdin immediately after getting that ability, it's not available when the story has you leaving Gododdin again.

you can find the discovery points anytime as long as you have access the area where they are. The skits associated to them, I think they have a limitation, you have access to them as long as you don't go to far away from them or you don't exit that map where you found it.

Well, as someone said before me, if you missed it you can buy it at katz village.

You didn't miss them, you can still see the skits at those places. jsut progress the main story and you'll see why there were no skits at the oasis and other places post-camelot bridge.
