[Spoiler] Any way to save Eizen (Edna's brother) ?

I just beat the dragon boss in the basin, so I thought I might stand a chance with Eizen.

After the story cutscenes, I went towards the mountain where Eizen is, when I reach the quest mark, Edna started crying, which made me feel kind of bad. Further down the path, Mikleo said it was the only way "before" we fight Heldalf.

I loaded the save and turned back.

Is there a way to save Eizen after I beat Heldalf? I feel like Heldalf is the last boss, and if I progress the story I will no longer be able to do the side quests. If there isn't a way to save Eizen, I will go on and kill him, but if there is a way to save him I will do that instead.

No, I don't think there is a way to save him as far as I know.

The story only states that dragons cannot be returned to their original forms because it has never been done. I haven't finished the fight with heldalf yet though, so I can't say for sure what happens afterwards. I will check the walkthrough thought since I have already killed Eizen and any other options won't really come as a surprise.

I checked the official walkthrough for the "Siblings" sidequest and there is no mention anywhere of being able to save Eizen, only the kill option. So no luck there unfortunately :\

no you cant, but you get to meet Eizen as a Humanoid in tales of Berseria

Actually i didnt kill eizen and i finished the game first, then i head to the top of the mountain to find him but he wasnt there anymore
