How to tell which Monoliths I've read?
Just trying to see if there is an easy way to tell which monoliths I have and haven't read yet. There seems to be too many system entries compared the monoliths I think I've found for that to be a good method, and the achievements don't show progress either. Anyone know?

If you have points of interest detection activated on Sorrey, it will leve a marker when you are close enough to an unread monolith, which goes away once you have read them.

Well, with an XBox controller, or at least, with an emulated XBox controller, it's supposed to vibrate when you approach a new monoloth. Read monoliths will not vibrate the controller.

Ah, thanks to Ariko for pointing out another way.

Right, I know that. And I've been pretty throrough about exploring every area I can. I was more looking for some kind of in game checklist similar to the normins and discovery points that I could use to make sure I've hit them all up to the point I'm at.

Unfortunately, no.

Ah, bugger. I guess I'll just grab something online and double check everything. I suppose I can use my AP as a rough estimate, taking into account leveling and the discovery points too.

Even a mark on the map like when you find a save point would have been nice. You see a mark, that's one you found already so search elsewhere for marks that still aren't on the map. Oh well.

Here's something that helps. Each Battle entry in the System book that has more than 1 entry means you've gotten that many monolitht. So, an entry with 3 pages, means you've gotten 2 monoliths that talk about it, since each entry has 1 default page plus all of the monoliths for it. Combine that with any online list of them and you should be able to figure out if you've missed any.

Just a warning, if you trigger this and then walk away it will not vibrate again. I'm not sure if leaving the area will reset that.

Also, vibration was off by default for me. I had to turn it on.

Use that link, scroll down to #10 entry and use the references to see which ones you are missing.

Here's a better list, for someone who might need it in the future, sorted by type of help, so you can just compare to your System Book and narrow down your search.
