can someone clarify this (dark domain areas)

so now i approach the great camelot bridge only to encounter this strong dark domain again, and the lord of calamity casually standing there. i had a situation like this at the ruin you go through in which at the end you fight a griffin, or whatever. but anyhow can someone clarify the purpose of these events because i keep getting pummled by everything in these dark domains including the lord of calamity if i encounter him.

I think you'll have to progress through the game, story-wise, finishing the Sheperd's Trial when you're going to find those 4 major locations. Haven't gotten far from the game, I think that's the only way to get in those area, is to finish most of the Trials.

maybe so, at the moment i cant even get past the bridge taking the time to avoid everything, and im pretty much lost story wise atm, just gonna yolo around and see what i find

pretty sure its to deter you form walking around in those areas? because i went and poke the lord of clamity and he 1 hit me HAHAHAHAHA....and i try other areas i think you get a debuff in battle......and welll i doubt you want to spend 30mins crawlling on the floor lol

Yeah, you're not supposed to go into those areas yet. Once you've gone through three of the trials, one of the areas will be unlocked, and after you've done the fourth, the second is as well.

There's a reason the lord of calamity is there as well and not just big monsters. It is to deter you from going there until after trials though.

It is possible to kill the lord of calamity it gets you the bad ending
