Sound Distortion on Movies
The game runs flawlessly for me. The only problem is that the sound is kinda distorted on movies. Is this a normal problem?

I've already set the sound setting on the control panel to 48kHz. Is there any other solution?

If it still occurs to you at 48khz, you can try a lower frequency if you have them available. You could also try switching the quality there to either 16 bit or 24 bit and see if it makes a difference.

Respond back here if you get it working with what worked for you.

I tried lowering them to 44.1kHz, tried both 16bit and 24bit, tried turning off Sound Blaster software. Nothing makes any difference.

I still can hear the distortion on the movies. Like the time when Sorey and Mikleo left Elysia, there's a movie and there's an audible distortion when they're walking.

I wonder if this problem only persists in my configuration or is it happening for everyone...

Changing those settings worked for most people, from what I can tell. Most people do not actually have this issue in the first place, however.

Do you have a separate audio control panel you might need to change it in as well?

There's only Realtek driver, other than Sound Blaster Cinema, but I don't think there's anything I can change there. The game was already set to stereo too...

If you right click on the sound icon in your task try and go to Playback Devices, what do you see listed there? Which one has the green check mark on it?

Ah, I saw a video on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/U9Cfx4C-oBg?t=30m

I can also hear the distortion. I think it's normal for everyone after all. Thanks for your suggestions. :)

I'm not sure what the audio quality is on the videos they included in the game. They've sounded fine for me. That video you linked sounded a little lower quality if you're listening to the background music in it, though the voices sounded fine.

Yes, the voices are fine. The others, not so much.

What in the video is something like what I'm receiving. If it's normal for everyone then I don't mind. :)

Yes, it's currently normal because the AMV audio quality, as well as that of a few ingame tracks, is horrible. You can literally hear the nazi compression.

Same problem here
It's very annoying to watch the "movies" with those weird noises :steamsad:
