This shows cut-scenes, skits, combat, artes, field exploration, treasures and user interface stuff. The video is in Japanese, so if you don't understand Japanese then it shouldn't spoil any story stuff for you.
Keep in mind this is from the PS3 version, which has worse draw distance and other issues which won't apply to the PS4 and PC versions.
The primary battle system involves you moving forward or away from your targeted opponent while you can use moves/spells/block. You can "free run" (you are not only stuck in a straight line) by holding a button down, however. There may be further options for that I haven't played this version yet.
