PSA: Crashes while using Tales of Zestiria fix (60 fps unlock) - Workaround
Greetings,

After playing this game for a bit with the community mod that makes the game playable, instead of the eyesore 30 fps lock, I was having a specific issue: When I got an achievement, the game would crash without any logs.

Since you can't save between fights / cutscenes, you can lose a lot of progress with this annoying issue, so I've tried to do anything to fix this issue besides not using the mod and having nauseas with the stupid 30 fps lock.

For several hours I tried to disable steam overlay (which didn't work, achievements still popped up, good job Valve...), changing several settings in the config file with no avail, googling the web without any luck, until I actually found the fix:

FIX: Go to your game's folder and open the d3d9.ini file, go to [Steam.Log] and change "Silent=false" to "Silent=true". Done. You're still getting the achievements, but the game won't crash anymore. Enjoy!

Alternatively, you can also set "EnableCEGUI" to "false" under [SpecialK.System] in d3d9.ini.

Unfortunately that didn't work for me, it was one of the first settings I've changed. But thanks for the input.
