Can someone explain? (Alisha DLC spoilers)

I beat the ending and I'm puzzled with the cliffhanger with Lunarre. Are they trying to set up a sequel or another DLC to this story?

No, they will just leave everything until there. No sequel or any continuation. Just a question mark in the end XD

Seeing as ToB will be set in the same world (past), I wouldn't be too surprised if we got a third game in the future. If we think about it Sorey and co didn't really fix the problem on a global scale and even Glenwood will not be save forever, if a new LoC and so on would come.
Plus, in ToB, it seems like the malevolence is not something natural. And because of ToB being in the past the problem cannot be solved there either.

Edit: Or, yes, the anime. Depending when it's set.
