Any tips on how to defeat Zaveid's Crucible? (Spoilers)
So just beating heldaf, I went back into the game and notice that I can go to Hexen Isle now. And I must say I am having trouble beating Zaveid's Crucible. It is the last one I need to finish for that side mission and it's bugging me. He is level 76 and I am playing on Moderate. The enemies being wind resistance don't help and I hate it when they use the Hell Gate doesn't make things any easier since they can stun me and I get caught up with the other enemies. I don't have enough time to cast any seraphic artes either. Any ideas?

Play at simple. Attack with attacks that have a their type-weakness. For example, an attack with (Apodus) on it will makes the attack strong against enemy who are Apodus. You can always come back to challenge again when you are stronger. Or you can go level up a bit first. Go back to places where you saw those roaming around boss monster. They drop orbs which increase MAX HP. Some are found at places like the first dungeon, where Mikleo and sorey fell and the last room of the trial dungeons...so on.

Yeah I just dropped the difficulty to simple. It was pissing me off with so many enemies using their magic at once. There was no way I would've suvived it on moderate at the moment. It felt like a very cheap area.

That was the place that made me start properly working on gear. I got Zaveid a set of gear that was all +20 to +30 with attention to skills including six or seven Priventi before trying again and having a fairly comfortable time.

hardest one in the game :| just because it's in that stupid extra dungeon.... I think it's set up that way to give the player an idea of how strong their characters need to be after completing that section (since held gets uber strong after that) but not sure. If all you want to do is beat it stick it on a lower difficulty, there is really no trick if you already know how to play but your characters are weak at that point even if you're in your mid 150's

Whoa whoa, if they're mid-150s you shouldn't be needing tricks, especially if you were playing Moderate or higher where experience comes slower. My post was from the perspective of level 92 or so. If you made it to 150 without sorting out a proper set of gear on a first playthrough I don't quite know what to say.
