Zestiria vs Vesperia. Is Zestiria Worth it?

The only tales game I have ever played is Tales of Vesperia, which I absolutely loved. Seeing as I have no other tales game to fall back on, would Zestiria be worth the purchase?

The story, character and world building. The combat system was neat though I never got the hanf of playing any other characters other than the lead.

Zestiria isn't even close to being as good as Vesperia imo. The story is pretty bad, the characters are boring and the world is dull.
I would recommend getting Tales of Symphonia instead, it is a much better game and VMProtect has been removed now.

The characters are actually kind of interesting, but the story they are forced to go through makes them feel like they're doing things just 'cuz, which gives them very little to no growth. In other words, the skits can be fun, but the main story is barely there at all, and what is there is about as interesting as counting ceiling tiles.

The game basically good. But the game lacks at the main plot.

Compare to Vesperia, Vesperia is better overall.

And since the combat in Vesperia is really responsive, playing Zetiria will leave you bitter, angry, and disapointed.

The combat is slightly altered when compared to Vesperia (my favourite Tales combat probably). As mentioned before, the story in this game is fairly weak and straight forward, especially when you have played Abyss/Symphonia/Vesperia. The game is still fun and has alot of content, it's a good game but not a great game like the other 3 mentioned.
