Basically, you need to deal enough damage to him when he is charging his attack. He will charge up to 4 times in the whole battle. The damage u need to deal is increased each time he charges... You can deal more damage if you attack with artes that the type-weakness he is weak against. When you tap "select target" button while fighting armatized Heldalf, you can see he is dragon type. Find artes that have a "dragon" symbol on it because it means those artes are more effective on dragon-type monsters.

And each time you fired the shot with a gun, the seraph you armatized with will not be usable anymore. So armatized with weaker seraphim to fire the shot so you can save them for later when you will need to deal more damage to the boss.

yea, idk. To have to grind even more for the final boss is kinda a turn off. I think I'm done with this game.

I understand difficulty, but to have an impossible boss on "simple", is ridiculous, ♥♥♥♥ this. This is probably my biggest complaint with JRPGs. They don't balance worth a ♥♥♥♥.

after 9 tries, you'd give up as well

You never considered why you couldn't beat him and simply went on to call him impossible. and after just 9 tries? you must be kidding...

Simon already gave to some tips outside of just plain up improving your gear/lvl etc.

I actually knew everything about what Simon said. I have google you know.

You say you have google yet can't beat him when many others did even on higher difficulty. Tried improving your gear or change it up a bit? There's tons of thinks that could lead to you not being able to deal enough dmg and thus wiping but all we've gotten from you is "He's impossible". How are we supposed to help your case if you share 0 information on what you currently have.

that's it though. After grinding through enemy after enemy, boss after boss. Having my characters past level 60. I can't beat the final boss :/
Not because I'm not "skilled" enough, but because I didn't grind my gear to deal 20k damage in 30 seconds.

well "lvl's" aren't doing much in tales of zestiria. It's the gear and the linked skills from said gear thats important.

Your stat levels up according to the ratio of your current stat from equipment. Did you fight those hellions boss on the fields? They drop arnamalous orbs that increase max hp of all party members. And also gives a lot of exp. You should go explore a bit too. Those optional dungeon that don't have anything to do with sidequest or plot. There are discovery point which gives more AP. And some hellion boss are inside there too. Sell unwanted equipment if you inventory is piling up, drop rate decreases when u get more equipments until it completely stops if it is too full. Try to play the game on hardest difficulty as possible when beating the hellion boss. Because u are now strong enough, u can beat them easily. Finish the battle with mystic arte (use mystic arte as last hit) to earn you lot of grade that level up Lord if lands. In my opinion, level 60 is a bit too low for last boss. Unless u have strong equipments. Level up to at least 70 level.

I just finished the game, 40 hours on the dot. I never took a look at the difficulty settings, so I'm assuming simple is another option offered under normal. My characters were lvl 71-73, mikleo being the lowest. I took the time to actually explore every room in the majority of the ruins, and defeated all the hellion bosses at the end of the dungeons. I didn't do any of the solo character stuff (crucibles). My equipment is w/e you can buy or what you pick up, none of it is what I'd consider "secret" gear. I think you should explore more and like above, get more anamolous orbs. These bosses lie in almost every dungeon you encounter after the main story ones and you're forced to explore and find the rest of the iris gems. I also defeated all four bosses in the dungeon before heldalf, which really helped with lvling up. I only had to retry one time, the first time I died because I was trying to look and see if there was something else I was supposed to be doing when the boss was chanting

I finished it first around 52hrs with lvl 83-87. Had to try to beat the last boss around 11 times changing equipments and strategy. I think this is just normal for RPG games and other people just dont have the patience to do quest etc find items or do some grinding. I almost stopped playing the game since the pace was not to my pace but glad I finished it. Im on my fourth attemp to complete the game each time completing more of the games side quest. Not using any guide until I feel I can no longer continue without help.

I think I'm just gonna start over, and focus on lvling up lords of the land and fusing gear, instead of lvls
