Any tricks to farm EXP/Grind for levels prior to Lvl 76?
I know what you're going to say! "Levels don't matter in this game, if you're struggling with a boss, you should change your equipment."

I KNOW all of this, this answer comes out 100% of the time in threads asking for EXP grinding tips in Zestiria. So please, don't waste your time typing that in the replies bellow, I'm sick of reading the exact same unhelpful comment.

What I want to know is if anyone has found an efficient method of reaching level 76 quickly, so I can finally meet those giant mimics and start farming for Gald, which will then fund my Arcane Bottles so I can farm for equipment (I swear this game requires grind so you can finally start grinding properly).

I am on Level 72 with Edna and Rose, my highest level characters, though Sorey and the rest are just two or three levels bellow. Fighting the Zombie Mimic is too time consuming, and fighting the enemies in the cave near Loghrim for the Axcell earrings (Lvl 90 walking birds)
doesn't seem to yield nearly enough EXP for the size of the waves.

It just takes too long to gain a single level. Playing on Normal or Simple difficulties, which yields x1 EXP (the highest) is the fastest way to level up, but you get a penalty for being too overleveled in comparison to the enemies you fight, so you have to increase the difficulty to Hard or higher, which all have a multiplier of x.9, x.5, or lower, which means you never have 100% of the EXP you should have despite fighting enemies 10 or 20 levels higher than you.

(Who thought this was a good idea?)

Has anyone found any reliable methods of speeding up the process to reach Level 76 yet? I have reached the very definitive final dungeon, but I want to farm equipment to deal with the extra hard bosses before beating Higeneko.

Thanks in advance.

Fight the final boss and clear the game first. Then load back the same save file (has a star symbol beside), then go up the stairs again at Artorius throne, a new portal opened up, allowing you access an Ex dungeon called Hexen Isle. The monsters there are stronger, so probably better for farming EXP.

Thanks for the comment, Simon. I managed to reach level 76 by going after the mutant hyoumas on Normal mode for max EXP gain.

I'll try the EX Dungeon after I beat the game (I got the Lords to level 13 and I'm getting sick of farming), let's see which one gives the highest EXP count for future playthroughs.
