Chief Of Gododdin Question

So I am at a loss for what to do next with the chief of Gododdin
I know hes sick, and I saw the fake shepherd in Pendrago and learned about why the knights are protecting him
But thats as far as I got on figuring out how to help him, I legit cant figure out what to do next?
Then I got sucked into Margerets issue, restored the blessing in Lastonbell
Found the kids at the ruins, and thats the last place I played/saved at
Do I need to go back to Hyland first? Cuz I know I need to do that for a trial and I need to go see gramps, so its the direction I was heading at least

Yup, now you need to go back to hyland and head to the waterfall to access the water trial. You do that by passing through a cave in the volgran forest.
