Iris Gem question

I am not sure if anyone will still help me with this old game, so I am playing the game and halfway through right now, and I am following one of the guide to know what thing i miss, so I have a certain question regarding the Iris gem, in the guide, following the progress of my own in comparison with the guide's playthrough, I should have at least 5 gems by now, but I only have 4, and some of the gems have different names compare to the playthrough, so comes the question, is the order of you getting the Iris gem random? But you still are able to watch the cutscene in order?

Yeah, the iris gems quests can be done in any order. It is fragmented memory afterall.

You can always rewatch the iris gems cutscenes later on. You can rewatch them after you collected all Iris gems, then go to Goddodin and fight a story battle.
