Controller settings

Hey,

i tried to play this game today but my controller settings are completly off. I tried to change some of them but even in the menu the buttons are mixed up. For example is my "start" button is "D-Pad up".
Ingame esp. the right analog stick is annoying because i only can move the camera up and down with pressing it left or right. Pressing it up does nothing while down opens the map.

Someone knows how to fix this? I read that other players had the same problem but nothing about how to fix it.

hate to say this & Sorry to be no help with it, but these are some of the reasons i use keyboard and mouse, not controller (Granted, I'd attempt to play with a controller if i had one, but I'd probably switch back to keyboard and mouse, since there's no point to using a controller, unless you're playing on a console) & in all seriousness, i think you should double check your controls, cause I'm pretty sure you can edit them, it almost sounds like you have inverted controls

There is an option to rebind the buttons :P

To solve this problem, you need to do it in the Steam Settings → Controller → General Config→ tick "Enable Generic Gamepad Support". (Also, try to map your controller mappings with the steam controller layout) And make sure to click "OK" if there is any.
