It seems that on default install for me, the default resolution is some 1024x768 or similar, or doesn't conform to/detect 16:9 so any attempt to enter settings leaves the full non scrollable menu trailing off screen relying on an alt+f4 to close and attempt to launch again. failing that, attempting to just play and see what it does, it seems to stop on another screen that I can only assume has some kind of confirm/continue prompt, again off screen, preventing progressing into the game itself.
