I don't think bone hooks are profitable either. Not entirely sure if they are worth selling but they are certainly not worth time and effort for value.
If you want to mass-produce something, boards are apparently still a good item to start with.
Upon further testing, turns out villagers actually buy bone-tipped arrows. So it's just stone-tipped ones that they don't care for.
I've bought swords and metal jewellery with hundreds of roasted or salted cuts. Works like a charm.
Actually I haven´t sold any stone tipped arrows.
You may use it for your bow training or give it away as little gifts.
You can also use rough arrows or stone tipped arrows as payment for companions.
Companions acceppt everything as payment as long you give them enough of it.
Can confirm that. They even take animal dung.
I am already planning on traveling around with a cart full of animal dung to trade when we get carts one day.
