Eventually after a long time, she would go "hey, you're great I like you". So you would say "Be my wife." Just blunt like that, and take her away from the village. You could have multiple wives in every areacode too...
They were a little useless, the wives, and you had to keep them fed or they'd run away. But they improved sleep quality and healing speed a little.
Then the fun was over one day, when this whole part of the game got removed - the news.txt said that it would be back later, and with many much better improvements added. Been a while now, but it hasn't come back yet! Keep up the hope, I know I am!
I want a wife and to start my own proper settlements, and to raise & educate sons in different skills, so that we can continue playing as one of the character's children should he die. That would be great justice indeed.
Imagine the heartbreak if Njerpez attacked and killed your family. All this work to waste. In other games, bad guys kill your family all the time, but it's just the story. In URW this would be serious damn business, you would put every Njerpez village on the map to the sword for that no doubt. Or die trying!
