New to this game. Can I reset traps?

I made a light lever trap and didn't think any animal would blunder into it, but when I was busy building my house, my field of vision extended to the trap (it is close to the build site) and to my amazement I saw a fox in it! First animal I've trapped!

I felt sad stabbing its neck and all, but now there's a triggered light trap so can I reset it so I can use it again? I can't pick it up. Thanks.
