Item limits on maps
I read in a guide that it was unwise to have your home, farm and cellars all on the same map due to item limits on maps. Does this still hold true in the latest version?

There's limit of couple of thousand items per 50x50 tiles but in reality..ermm..in unreal reality, it's something very rarely reached. At least you gotta work hard on that :)
But if you're a hard working hoarder the game gently notifies you with "hoard wisely" messages if you're approaching the max, and advices to start spreading your wealth on wider area.

You should have enough homesteads spread out by the time you reach thousands of items for it not to be an issue.
Ah gotcha. Been playing the game off an on for a few years but never for long enough to get that far so I never knew. Thank you.

The limit count stacks? As I have three stacks of branches of 1000 so should I start using them or just burn away?(Came from making logs)

The stackables in each square are going to count as one item for map purposes, no matter how many of em'.

Example: Pile of 1000 branches = 1 item. 2 piles of 1000 branches = 2 items. 3 Fox skins of different qualities so they don't stack = 3 items.

Sami, what's going to happen if a player ignores the "hoard wisely" message? Does it start deleting item stacks based on which are older or less valuable?
