Yeah but to happen to EVERY vent in EVERY Arkam game? XD
Seems legit.
Yes it's a game but when a superhero is based off realism nit-picking the lore can be amusing. Speaking of which if your jumping off a building and used a grapple, wouldn't your arm get yanked on and injured?
Some take this as nitpicking, others, like me, take it as inquisitive thought. And Batman's detective mode even states these vents are especially designed to be escape proof so the OP's question is a valid one. For your batmaning pleasure, Ive since discovered, despite beating this 3 times, Joker goons, can be grappled off ladders, ledges, and pulled/punched into electric fields, you can even punch one off a ladder as he climbs up to you. If your feeling like Aggressive Batman from Superman vs Superman, you can let Ivy's pods kill enemies for you prior to clearing said pods.
Also in the first Christian Bale Batman movie Commissoner Gordon mentioned their little "arms race" with the criminals. They get semi-automatics, the criminals get automatic weapons. They get bullet-proof vests, the crims get armor-piercing rounds. They get batman... then the Joker appears?
Based on this I feel like Batman can kind of be blamed for the Joker. (His appearence, not his actions afterwards
Also in the first movie batman refuses to execute a single murderer to join the Leage of Shadows. Instead he decides to blow up the whole damn buildings, killing almost everyone INCLUDING the guy he refused to execute? WTF BATMAN?
I'm sorry I'm rambling, but since there seems to be some people on this thread with constructive thoughts I thought it would be best to throw out some other thoughts I had on Batman stuff.
There is no real explanation for half the things batman does and it's not really in the realm of reality to begin with. You just need to let a lot of it slide by and enjoy the details they didn't forget about.
Good points. before someone says otherwise, its obvious to me your fasicinated with his mindset. I know your not knocking the games, though I do long for the days when devs made games that were fun, interesting storylines, and best part of all, actually WORKED properly...can you imagine?
Could be.
