Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves

A fix for those having problems with blurry/muddy pixelated textures
I know that some of us (including myself) have trouble with Wuthering Waves having incredibly blurry textures in the Rinascita region

A person on Reddit managed to find a work around by modifying the game's Engine.ini file.

Steps to resolve it:

Go to your game directory (usually it is C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Wuthering Waves). If it is somewhere else, check your Steam Installation

From there go to Client\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and find the Engine.ini file. Make a backup copy of it somewhere, in case anything goes wrong. (Most likely won't go wrong)

Open the Engine.ini file (you may or may not need to use your admin rights for this) with the text editor and add the following lines to the bottom:

[ConsoleVariables]
r.Kuro.SkeletalMesh.LODDistanceScale=25
r.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures=1

Save and close the editor.

Thanks to this Reddit post for the fix

Doing this will force the game to load everything with more details. Or you could just ignore it and it will be gone after a few weeks when the game finish loading
I think it worked, but still expected a more crisp picture like I see in those youtube videos.

I'm guessing they're using Nvidia Filters(?)

Yeah, I got Ray Tracing on. I feel like it doesn't make as difference as it should.

Have you tried pressing alt+z in-game?

Actually I had to turn on the overlay from the Nvidia app, didn't realize. Thanks. It definitely looks better from settings I've used from youtube.
