What do you consider yourself "win" in a basically singleplayer game?
If you fell in love with any character and/or it's design you could get some kind of fomo.
Jiyan's day 1 team of himself, Mortefi and Verina is still one of the strongest teams on the game, and it's been a year since that team came out.
Havoc Rover is a really strong DPS.
So yea, you're fine, no need to pull everyone.
It's just up to you if you are ok with that.
I'd play this game again if i could just straight up buy the characters and weapons directly from the store, since RNG ALWAYS cucks me in those casino-ass pulls and just leads me to frustration instead of fun.
2. And you can do everything 100 % for free without pulling any character and even besides that why should you not pull? You get so much stuff for free so just use that and don't pay for it.
The only thing you have to do is invest a lot of time to farm stuff and you can do everything without any issues. Sure it's nearly impossible to get a 100 % perfect character build without paying but you can get enough stuff easily that is just a few % weaker.
and well there isn't really any big FOMO because you can't miss out of anything that is actual important. Sure you miss events but there are events and not meant forever and yes characters are time limited but they always come back so also no actual FOMO.
This. playing a gacha while lacking characters is barely a gaming experience on my eyes, would rather play a complete game instead.
If you're planning to not pull anything at all no matter how much free shít they give you enough to actually get a 5-star weapon, don't expect to 100% the time-sensitive end game modes.
Make sure to level up to unlock more rewards. There is a free five star regular weapons selector when you reach level 45. There is also free four star weapon selector. What else? Some of the events are short and long, so you don't need to burn yourself out. You can speed run some of the events. Basically, you can go with your flow.
As for the story, it can get slightly feel boring at the start, but as you progress, it sticks with you. There is also a skip button, but it is best not to do it in the main story. In that way, you could see how good it is.
Burning out and fear of missing out are inevitable, which is why you have to find a way to actually make you find the game interesting from characters, scenery, or anything at all. You can also take a break, no matter how long it was. Yes, you could miss events, rewards, and such, but your mental health will always be your top priority.
Lastly, is the game pay to win? I do not think so. It becomes P2W if you care so much about the meta characters, you have a gambling habit, you are building pity on the banner who you don't want any character in it, and you are simply impatient.
Advice: Focus on the banner duration. Invest whom you think it is worth of your time.
