How the heck do you save Wilde in the bar scene?

I've tried everything! FIrst, overturn. Second, bottle. Third, push away, fourth, I get shot! The only thing i can interact with is that tray. Is there something I'm missing?

The real flaw in this scene, is you don`t always notice the elements you`re supposed to click on. Like the beam proping up the shutter that you click to block the shotgun blast as you go out the door. It's off to the edge of the screen, so you don't always see it when you need it. Took me a few plays to get through that one.
