no spoiler review for people who know Sherlock Holmes games

So I am a huge fan of the Sherlock Holmes games and i have played them all. And my impression of this game is that it’s a solid Sherlock Holmes game. I really don’t disagree white many of the negative comments but with that in mind I enjoyed the game. It is not as good as crime and punishment which at its best was what this game should be. Ill not bother to explain what the game is ill assume you know what this games are.
My biggest problem is that the investigation part of this game has been dumbed down and I only got in to trouble with the third case. The game has a lot of boring quick time event you can press space to skip. I ended up pressing space a lot. It is sad the devs used resources on adding this to game and not focusing more on what makes this game grate.
So this games is a Sherlock Holmes game that takes tree steps back but is still better then the testament of Sherlock Holmes. I was really hoping that they would improve on crime and punishment but it feels the producer could not stand up to management and added the stupide quick time events. I can feel the lead level designer shouting at this review say what did I tell you. We should have used the money on a better story.
So it Is not the best Sherlock Holmes game but as a fan I am happy it was made, and I enjoyed it. But my hart cry’s over what management force on this game. Ill give this game on this Sherlock Holmes scale 7/10 it was enjoyable but I still feel they could make Sherlock Holmes games better but fear they will try to make it more main stream to sell more and end up just being poor game. And this game is a step in that direction.

I have a hard time playing this game atm, hundreds of quick time events, mindless minigames everywhere (feels almost more like a minigame collection then like a real adventure), and scenes like the exorcism at chapter 3 where i really think it cant get any worse.
Its a big step backward from crimes and punishment which also was not perfect.
It seems the only really good sherlock holmes games at pc are still the two very old "lost files of sherlock holmes" titles (i wished frogware would just get the license of these games and make a hd remake of them:)
